Description

Tausende von Kindern, vor allem Mädchen, werden jedes Jahr sexuell mißbraucht. Viele Vergehen an Minderjährigen werden nicht bekannt - die Kinder schweigen aus Angst. So auch Cheryl. Als sie elf Jahre alt ist, wird sie von ihrem Vater bedrängt, im Alter von 13 wird sie von ihm zum Geschlechtsverkehr gezwungen. Als Cheryl 16 Jahre alt ist, läßt sie ihren Vater erschießen. War Cheryls Leben bisher eine Qual, so ist für sie der öffentliche Prozess eine noch größere Demütigung.
