Description

Zahlreiche junge Israelis reisen, nachdem sie ihren Wehrdienst häufig in Krisenregionen abgeleistet haben, nach Indien. Dort geben sie ihre Abfindung für Drogen aus und versuchen – auf an Verzweiflung grenzende Weise – ihr Leben zu genießen. Die Kombination ihrer im Krieg erlittenen Traumata mit massivem Drogenkonsum stürzt nicht wenige der ehemaligen Rekruten in paranoide Zustände. Filmemacher Yoav Shamir hat einige von ihnen zurück nach Israel begleitet und ihre Rehabilitationsversuche beobachtet.
