Description

Der Indianer Rafael lebt mit seiner Frau und zwei kleinen Kindern im Slum, weit weg vom amerikanischen Traum. Jeder Tag bedeutet Überlebenskampf. Doch dann bekommt er ein Angebot: McCarthy bietet ihm 50.000 $ für sein Leben. Der Deal ist simpel: Dafür wird er vor laufender Kamera gefoltert und hingerichtet. Er sagt zu, denn er will für seine Familie ein besseres Leben. Er hat noch wenige Tage bis zu seinem ersten (und letzten) Arbeitstag. Diese wenigen Stunden ermöglichen ihm Glück und Intimität mit seiner Familie, aber auch knallharte Auseinandersetzung mit Menschen, die er nicht akzeptieren kann. Dann ist es soweit. Er verläßt den armseligen Trailerpark. Er wird nie wieder zurückkehren.
