Description

Als irische Bauern bei der Feldarbeit einen Monolithen ausgraben wollen, befreien sie dabei den alten keltischen Blutgott Rawhead. Mordend und zerstörend beginnt das Monster, seine Herrschaft wieder zu errichten. Sein erster Diener wird der Dorfpfarrer. Als Rawhead den kleinen Sohn des amerikanischen Historikers Hallenbeck umbringt, der mit seiner Familie Urlaub macht, nimmt dieser den Kampf auf. Es gelingt ihm, das Monster mit einem alten Ritus zu besiegen.
