Description

Handlung von Breakdown

Jeff Taylor (Kurt Russell) und seine Frau Amy (Kathleen Quinlan) reisen quer durch Amerika, um in ihr neues Zuhause zu ziehen, als das Auto plötzlich eine Panne hat. Mitten in der Wüste hilft ihnen ein freundlicher Truckfahrer, der Amy zu einem Telefon in der nächsten Ortschaft bringen soll. Als sie nach vielen Stunden nicht wieder zurückkommt, beginnt Jeff sich Sorgen um seine Frau zu machen. Auf der Suche nach ihr muss er feststellen, dass niemand in der Gegend seine Frau gesehen haben will. Nachdem die Polizei keine Hinweise auf ein Gewaltverbrechen finden kann, ist Jeff komplett auf sich alleine gestellt. (AMP)
