Description

Die ehemalige Soldatin Ali Gorski (R. Rose) hat bei ihrem letzten, missglückten Militäreinsatz im Ausland ein Trauma erlitten, über das sie nicht hinwegkommen kann. Sie übernimmt einen Job als Pförtnerin in einem alten Appartementhaus in New York, wo ein früherer Partner des zwielichtigen Kunstexperten Victor Dubois (J. Reno) einige höchst wertvolle Kunstwerke versteckt hat. Die Wohnung wird aber mittlerweile von Alis Schwager und dessen Kindern bewohnt. Als es Dubois auf die Gemälde abgesehen hat und dazu mit brutalen Handlangern in die Wohnung einbricht, stellt sich ihm Ali entgegen. Mit einem Ex-Marine als Gegner hat dieser nicht gerechnet.
