Description

Mitten im Atlantik haben amerikanische Wissenschaftler das Unterwasserlabor “Aquatica” eingerichtet, wo sie medizinische Experimente mit genmanipulierten Haien durchführen. Doch plötzlich entwickeln die Versuchstiere beunruhigende Eigenschaften: Sie werden immer größer, immer intelligenter und immer boshafter. Als ein gewaltiger Sturm über die künstliche Insel hereinbricht, gelingt es den Haien, sich zu befreien. Für die Wissenschaftler beginnt eine Jagd auf Leben und Tod.
