Description

In den USA herrscht nationaler Notstand. Eine bislang unbekannte Seuche lässt die Körper gerade Verstorbener wiederauferstehen. Die Untoten fallen wahllos über jeden Menschen her. Wer gebissen wird, wird selbst zum Zombie. Drei Männer und eine Frau fliehen vor der Invasion der Körperfresser und verschanzen sich in einem Supermarkt. Ein verzweifelter Kampf ums nackte Überleben beginnt…

Hintergrund & Infos zu Zombie – Dawn of the Dead
Zombie – Dawn of the Dead (OT: Dawn of the Dead) von George A. Romero kam am 02. August 1979 in die westdeutschen Kinos. Der Film trug außerdem die Alternativtitel Zombie 1 und Zombie – Das Original. Tom Savini, der unter anderem für die Stunts zuständig und zudem als Motorrad-Zombie zu sehen war, wirkte auch in Dawn of the Dead als County Sheriff mit. Zack Snyder führte bei dem Remake von 2004 Regie.
