Gunther (Arnold Schwarzenegger) ist der beste Hitman der Welt, aber auch arrogant, ein Angeber und jemand, der keine Probleme damit hat, seinen Auftragsmörder-Kollegen die Jobs zu stehlen. Genervt von diesem Verhalten beschließt die internationale Gesellschaft der Profikiller, dass etwas geschehen muss. Eine Gruppe exzentrischer Assassinen aus allen Ecken der Welt ersinnt einen ausgefeilten Plan, der Gunther in eine Falle locken und ihn als Konkurrenz ein für alle Mal eliminieren soll.
