Handlung von Mile 22
Mile 22 führt den CIA-Agenten James Silva (Mark Wahlberg) mitten hinein in einen Korruptionsskandal, der gewaltsame und politische Folgen ungeahnten Ausmaßes hat. Nur indem er sich mit dem Polizisten Li Noor (Iko Uwais) aus Indonesien verbündet, hat der Amerikaner Chancen, das Komplott aufzulösen, statt ihm zum Opfer zu fallen. Dafür müssen der Geheimpolizist und sein Elite-Team Li Noor allerdings aus dessen Heimatland bringen, denn der Indonesier besitzt lebensbedrohliche Informationen. Doch der Feind zieht die Schlinge zu und ihre Mission wird zu einem Wettlauf gegen die Zeit. (ES)
